According to Haaretz, The New York Times wants to transition from print to the Internet. Online readership is growing strong, and profits from print are declining. They reach 1.5 million readers online and 1.1 million subscribers with print.
"I really don’t know whether we’ll be printing the Times in five years, and you know what? I don’t care either. The Internet is a wonderful place to be, and we’re leading there."
- Arthur Sulzberger, owner, The New York Times.
